- Shake a branch and call to a fantail/piwakawaka, it’s lunch time!
- Hear the tūī's wings whistle as it flies. Can you hear the tūī singing in the trees?

Look out for the Guardian Post when you get there. On it you'll find a special code word – write it down.
Getting there: The reserve is situated close to Whanganui City on the corner of Kaimatira Road and No.3 Line to the east of SH4. Hop over the stile on Kaimatira Road or drive into the car park a little further down.
