A hidden patch of forest so close to Whanganui! Cool off in the shade of the tall trees and see what you can discover. Enjoy the short walking track and see how many types of plants you can name.
  • This forest smells beautiful! What can you smell?
  • Shake a branch and call to a fantail/piwakawaka, it’s lunch time!
  • Hear the tūī's wings whistle as it flies. Can you hear the tūī singing in the trees?
