Hunting block closed
There will be no hunting permitted in this block from 1 February 2024 until 31 January 2025.
Red deer, fallow deer, pigs and goats are all present in this block
Special restrictions:
- Permit for seven day, Friday to Thursday
- One firearm per hunting party
- Permit must be shown to pilot.
- Do not venture onto neighbouring private property.

Permits are not available online. Contact the local DOC office for a permit.
A small part of Taheke Conservation Area only accessible by helicopter. The topography is moderate.

There is no legal access to this block. Access by helicopter only.
