Tracks to this campsite
Do not go into the Young Valley during or immediately following heavy rain. A dam that formed in the North Branch in 2007 poses a potential risk to trampers. If you intend to use the valley during rain, do not camp in the valley floor and move through the Young Valley as quickly as possible. Watch for any unusual or rapid rise in water levels—if this occurs, move to higher ground immediately.
