2013 Loder Cup winner - Nicholas Head
The Conservation Minister presented the Loder Cup to Christchurch botanist Nicholas Head - described as a tireless advocate for Canterbury’s unique plant life and for numerous trusts and organisations.

The 2013 Loder Cup was awarded to Christchurch botanist Nicholas Head.

Mr Head has been a tireless advocate for Canterbury’s unique plant life and for numerous trusts and organisations.

Mr Head was nominated by the Canterbury Aoraki Conservation Board, with support from Forest and Bird, Environment Canterbury, DOC, Landcare Research, and the QEII National Trust.
