You can find goats and pigs in the Big Bush hunting block located in the headwaters of Big Creek between Milton and the coast.

General information

This block is in the headwaters of Big Creek between Milton and the coast.

It is rolling country with some steep gullies and a mixture of rata, podocarp and kamahi forest.

Access

Access is east of Milton, via Glenledi Road then Big Bush Road. The road is suitable for all vehicles, although access through the forest may be locked at times.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed in this block with a hunting permit. If accessing the block over private land, you must have landholder permission to take your dog.
