Wānaka roar ballot application form for hunting March-April 2025
Applications for the 2025 Wānaka roar ballot opens Tuesday, 1 October 2024.

Application conditions

  • Include the full name, address, phone number and email address of the party leader; and full name of each member of your party.
  • Only submit one form for each party.
  • Name changes are discouraged but may be granted at DOC’s discretion.
  • Individual hunters must not apply on more than one ballot form. If they do, they will have all applications removed from the ballot.
  • A maximum of five hunters are permitted per block.

All information provided will be used by DOC solely for purposes for which it is gathered in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. By submitting this form the Applicant consents to the disclosure of their name, contact details and the dates of any permits issued to other hunters holding hunting permits who may request this information from DOC for purposes of coordinating transport arrangements to and from authorised hunting blocks
