About this track

Description

The Mokoroa Stream Track links the Goldie Bush Walkway and Mokoroa Falls Track.

The track leaves the Goldie Bush Walkway at a junction just before the swingbridge. It follows the Mokoroa Stream, crossing it a number of times, before exiting on the true left of the stream, just before reaching the Mokoroa Falls.

The track climbs steeply to reach the Mokoroa Falls Track. A lookout marks the start of the Mokoroa Falls Track and gives good views of the falls.

Longer loop walk

For a longer more challenging walk, continue on from the Mokoroa Stream Track to the Mokoroa Falls Track (1.5 km, 40 min one way).

After about 40 min, turn right onto the Goldie Bush Walkway. Walk 2.2 km (1 hr 15 min one way) back to the junction of Goldie Bush Walkway and Mokoroa Stream Track, and a further 1.3 km (35 min one way) to Constable Road. Continue straight from the junction of the Mokoroa Falls Track and Goldie Bush Walkway to exit at Horsman Rd (5 min one way).
