Summary
The National Education Strategy 2010-2030: Investing in Conservation Education for a Sustainable and Prosperous Future describes our approach to conservation education which is to focus on proactive, quality education activities with young people.
Education is the key to broadening support for conservation and the development of ecological literacy and conservation capability – critical for our well-being and prosperity.
It is closely linked with DOC's broader strategic direction – to increase the value New Zealanders attribute to conservation
