Backcountry Hut Passes and Backcountry Hut Tickets can't be used at this hut.

Bookings

2020/2021 bookings

Bookings will open at 9:30 am on Wednesday 1 July 2020, for stays from 1 December 2020 to 30 April 2021.

You'll need an account on our booking system for campsites, huts and lodges to make a booking - create an account from Tuesday 23 June 2020.

1 December - 30 April

Book Aspiring Hut online

A $10 service fee applies to all phone, email and in-person bookings.

1 May - 30 November

Bookings not required - bunks available on a first come, first served basis. 

Your hut booking is for any bunk bed, not for a specific bunk bed - select your bunk bed on arrival.

Sleeping mat required

This is a popular hut, consider carrying a sleeping mat in case no bunks are available.

No firewood available

There is no firewood supplied at this hut.

Large group notification required

Groups of more than ten people need to fill in a large group notification form. Contact the Tititea/Mt Aspiring National Park Visitor Centre at least two weeks before your departure date to receive this. The form is not a booking – the hut is still first come, first served.
