Lake Rotoroa Campsite

Located in Nelson Lakes National Park in the Nelson/Tasman region

An easily accessible camp in a picturesque setting - enjoy water activities or a stroll in the native bush.

Camp near the lake edge, surrounded by native bush. Explore tall forests and the lakeshore, or tramp in the D’Urville and Sabine Valleys.

There is a boat ramp and jetty for outdoor activities.

Fees

  • Adult (18+ years): $10 per night
  • Child (5–17 years): $5 per night
  • Infant (0–4 years): free

The DOC Campsite Pass can be used at this campsite. 

Camp hosts (Lake Rotoroa Water Taxi) will register campers and collect camp fees. Payment by cash or Eftpos.

Off SH6, east of Murchison. Follow Gowan Valley Road to end.
