    • Scrub soil off shoes and gear and check it's all removed before you go.

About this track


A 30 minute walk in the Twin Kauri Scenic Reserve takes you by groves of tree fern and kauri.

Two stunning kauri trees known as the Twin Kauri mark the beginning of this short walk. After about 10 minutes there are groves of tree fern and young adult kauri to be found.

Although it is not a long track, it is rough in places.

On the right hand side of State Highway 25 about 10 minutes north of Tairua.
