About this track

Getting there

Accessed via the Maratoto roadend at Hikutaia or at the Golden Cross roadend at Waikino.

Know before you go

There is no practical access to the nearby historic mining area of Komata Reefs. The pine forest at the end of Komata Reefs Road was felled and replanted in 2012 and is no longer suitable for tramping.
