There is a boat ramp and jetty for outdoor activities.
Fees
- Adult (18+ years): $15 per night
- Child (5–17 years): $7.50 per night
- Infant (0 - 4 years): free
The DOC Campsite Pass can be used at this campsite.
Between 23 October and 30 April, you can pay camp hosts, Lake Rotoroa Water Taxi.
Outside this time, payment can be made using the on-site iron ranger (cash only) or by EFTPOS at the Nelson Lakes Visitor Centre in St Arnaud.
Off SH6, east of Murchison. Follow Gowan Valley Road to end.

Lake Rotoroa Campsite is a great place for boating and kayaking, as well as 4WD and mountain biking nearby.
