December - January: Applications are closed for the 2017/18 season.
July 2018: Applications are invited for volunteers to assist with maintenance. This programme is suitable for Duke of Edinburgh Gold residential placements.
Year-round: Volunteers are needed to help maintain the pest-free wildlife sanctuary on Tiritiri Matangi Island. Preference is given to New Zealand residents and to those who can volunteer two or more times in a year. Volunteers should be 18+.
Ongoing/dates vary: There are a small number of opportunities for skilled volunteers to help with a variety of tasks including weeding and general maintenance.
December 2018 – March 2019: Expressions of interest are invited for camp hosts who can help to look after campers and the campsite.
Four consecutive days once a month: Applications are invited for skilled volunteers to work on maintenance on these Hauraki Gulf islands.
July 2018: Applications are invited for group/corporate volunteers to assist with maintenance for a day on Kawau Island or Motutapu Island.
