Inside Catchpool Conference/Visitor Centre

This fully accessible venue can hold up to 50 people and is ideal for corporate and social functions, education and community groups, weddings and family reunions. There is now full cell phone coverage in the Valley.

The Catchpool Centre does not have:
- DOC staff onsite
- an internet connection
- public transport options
- catering options – you need to supply all food and drink.
Getting there
Catchpool Valley is 12 km south of Wainuiomata.
Follow the Coast Road for 12 km, then turn left into the Remutaka Forest Park entrance. The Catchpool Centre is 400 m further down the Catchpool Valley Road on your left.
Know before you go
The access gate to the Catchpool Valley closes at 6 pm in winter and 8 pm in summer. If you have booked the centre and are going to stay outside of these hours you will need to collect a gate remote from the Kapiti Wellington Office.
Fees and bookings
Prices are inclusive of cleaning fee.
- Morning 8:30 am – 12:30 pm: $100
- Afternoon 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm: $100
- Evening 6:30 pm – 11:30 pm: $120
- All day 8:30 am – 11:30 pm: $260
