Bookings are open for stays up to 30 June 2027.

• If no availability shows online for your dates, the hut is fully booked.
• No spaces are kept for visitors arriving without a booking.
• Phone and in‑person bookings made at a visitor centre incur a $10 service fee.
• Same‑day bookings are available online until 8 pm if spaces remain.

Your hut booking is for any bunk bed, not for a specific bunk bed – select your bunk bed on arrival. 

A dry summer will limit the amount of water available at the hut for drinking and cooking. Use the water sparingly when you stay at the hut and be prepared with your own water.

Fires are not permitted in the Silverpeaks at any time. Fire could destroy this special place in a matter of hours.Fires put you and others at risk.

The grass pad in front of the hut provides emergency helicopter landing, do not camp in this space.

Be aware that pigs may have damaged the grass areas around the hut and you may need to flatten an area to pitch a tent.
