Located in the Otago region

Spend a day walking to a picturesque lake, or 4 days tramping over a sub-alpine saddle between distinctly different valleys. Fish for rainbow and brown trout, or hunt deer and chamois.

Acess this area from end of Greenstone Station Rd, 85 km from Queenstown. From Glenorchy to the Greenstone Shelter takes an hour on a gravel road. Between Kinloch and Greenstone Station Road end are a number of fords that can be flooded in heavy rain and become impassable.
