The Nancy Fladgate Track is a pleasant walk through regenerating coastal bush beside a stream to Waihihi Bay (Brick Bay).
This track is part of the Russell Track network, and a perfect opportunity for a short stroll to a picturesque bay.
At the seaward end of the track, you can, at low tide, walk around the rocks and beaches to Tapeka Point (by turning right), and Russell town (by turning left).
10,000 Steps Northland: This track equates to approximately 666 steps.
You can get to the Nancy Fladgate Track from Titore Way next to Flagstaff Hill, just north of Russell.
- Do not cycle on the Nancy Fladgate Track. It is not designed for mountain-biking.
Stop kauri disease and protect kauri
- Scrub all soil off shoes and gear.
- Use cleaning stations.
- Always stay on the track.
