This is a 34-bunk hut located on the Abel Tasman Coast Track in the Motueka area.Facilities

- Water from tap - not treated, boil before use
Huts on the Abel Tasman Coast Track don't have gas cooking facilities and lighting. Remember to take a portable stove and fuel, and candles with you.
Fees
1 October – 30 April
New Zealand citizens and those ordinarily resident in New Zealand:
- Adult (18+ years): $50 per person, per night
- Child (5 to 17 years): $25 per person, per night
International visitors:
- Adult (18+ years): $76 per person, per night
- Child (5 to 17 years): $38 per person, per night
Proof of eligibility is required for the New Zealand rate.
1 May – 30 June
All visitors:
- Adult (18+ years): $38 per night
- Child (5 to 17 years): $19 per night
1 July – 31 August
All visitors:
- Adult (18+ years): $30 per person, per night
- Child (5 to 17 years): $15 per person, per night
1 - 30 September
All visitors:
- Adult (18+ years): $38 per person, per night
- Child (5 to 17 years): $19 per person, per night
Backcountry Hut Passes and Backcountry Hut Tickets cannot be used at this hut.

- Anchorage Hut via Abel Tasman Coast Track: High tide track - 4 hr (11.5 km), low tide crossing - 3 hr (8.4 km)
- Awaroa Hut via Abel Tasman Coast Track: 4 hr 30 min (13.5 km)
Bark Bay Hut can also be accessed via water taxi.
