Whakapapa Nature Walk

Located in Tongariro National Park and Whakapapa Village area in the Central North Island region

This sealed loop track gives a glimpse of the unique flora of Tongariro National Park.

A series of on-site information panels explain the various vegetation zones in the park.

The track begins 250 m above the Tongariro National Park Visitor Centre on SH48.

DOC does not generally approve permits to fly drones in this national park and we do not recommend you apply for one.
