Creel Survey data
Data and articles from the yearly Creel Survey which is conducted by interviewing anglers over the summer.

The Creel Survey provides valuable information for fishery managers, particularly when viewed in combination with technical data from other monitoring activities.

The first release of Creel Survey data for the summer period of 2024/25.

Summer creel surveys started in November 2022 on Lake Taupō with a total of 132 angler interviews completed through until Waitangi weekend.
