Located in Ruataniwha Conservation Park in the Canterbury region

This is a basic three-bunk hut next to Huxley Forks Hut in the Ruataniwha Conservation Park.

Head to Huxley Forks Hut, 6 hours (18 km) up the Huxley valley, off Hopkins valley at the end of Lake Ohau Road.

Officers Hut is directly next to Huxley Forks Hut (20 m apart).
