Stone bridge on Millennium Walk.
Millennium Walk

Located in Arthur's Pass National Park in the Canterbury region

This easy walk, suitable for prams, takes you to a bridge where you can see a waterfall.

Starting across the road from the visitor centre, this short walk, suitable for prams and wheelchairs, takes you over a little stone bridge where you can see Avalanche Creek Waterfall.

From here you can continue up the path to a viewing platform closer to the waterfall - this section has steps and is unsuitable for prams or wheelchairs. The walk ends on the road at the Arthur’s Pass Chapel. Inside the Chapel, the altar window frames the waterfall. Walk back down the footpath to return to where you started.

The walk starts opposite the Arthur's Pass Visitor Centre, 104 West Coast Road.
