Note, toilet can be inaccessible in winter.
Fees
- Adult (18+ years): $45 per night ($35 for New Zealand Alpine Club members)
- Child/Youth (5–17 years): $22.50 per night
- Infant (0–4 years): free

1 May - mid-November (date to be confirmed)
Pay at the Aoraki/Mount Cook Visitor Centre on the day you start.
Fees from 1 July 2024
- Adult (18+ years): $50 per night
- NZ Alpine Club members: $35 per night
- Child/youth (15–17 years): $25 per night
- Infant (0–4 years): free
Backcountry Hut Passes and Backcountry Hut Tickets cannot be used at this hut.
Bookings
Bookings for 2024 to 2025 summer season
Bookings open at 9.30 am on Tuesday 16 April 2024.
All bookings are first-come first-served. We do not have waiting lists for bookings for future seasons or facilities that are already booked-out.

A $10 service fee applies to phone and in-person booking. This is a limited service – book online first. An in-person booking is dependent on there being space available.
Your hut booking is for any bunk bed, not for a specific bunk bed – select your bunk bed on arrival.
