Heaphy Track recovery work
Introduction
In February 2022 severe storms damaged bridges and sections of track on the Heaphy Track Great Walk.Update 20 October 2023
The Heaphy Track is now open as a through walk.
The Lewis River Bridge has been completed so there is no need to ford the Lewis River.
