Volunteer to repaint Tūrere Stream bridge
The Tūrere Stream bridge over the Ōrongorongo River needs a repaint. Volunteer for a day in summer or autumn.

We need 3-6 volunteers to work for one day. No experience required. Low-medium fitness required.

What to expect

Walk to the bridge (approximately 1 hr) and spend a few hours prepping and painting the bridge.

Fitness required: A low-medium level of fitness is required.

Skills required: No experience is required, a DOC ranger will be with you on the day.

Transport: You need your own transport to get to the Catchpool carpark.

What to bring

Food: Volunteers need to provide their own food. 

Gear: Find out what to bring. A full gear list will be provided when your volunteering opportunity is confirmed. Any safety gear and all tools will be supplied.
