  • Personal first aid/medication
  • Raincoat
  • Sun hat
  • Sunscreen and insect repellent
  • Togs and towel (if you intend to swim)
  • Spare jersey, woollen shirt or thermals
  • Fully charged mobile phone
  • Gloves to prevent blisters
  • Some projects may require a compass (check with your co-ordinator)

  • Sleeping bag and pillow slip
  • Plate/mug/knife/fork/spoon
  • Drink bottle

  • Light footwear (sandshoes)

  • Shorts and T-shirts
  • Long trousers
  • Wool or polar fleece shirt
  • Wool or polar fleece jersey/jacket
