Project number: 14
Location: Fiordland National Park
Dates
4 volunteers for 5 days
December 2025
Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to spend a week on a popular track in Fiordland. Learn about the area’s interesting history and have the opportunity to walk out along the Milford Track after the works completed.
Most of this trip will involve scrub-barring and clearing the track. Other tasks may include hut cleaning, minor building repairs and a general tidy of the surrounding area.
If the weather is unsuitable and we are unable to access the Milford Track, work will be untaken on the Kepler Track at Moturau and Shallow Bay huts instead.
