What happens next

- DOC will fully assess the application under the Marine Mammals Protection Regulations 1992 and in light of our section 4 treaty obligations.
- A recommendation will be made to a decision maker about whether or not to grant a permit under the Marine Mammals Protection Regulations 1992.
- The decision maker will decide whether or not to grant the permit.
