Summary of proposal
The application is for occupation and use of an area within Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve measuring approximately 0.04 hectares on the south-eastern corner of the Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park carpark. The applicant wishes to use the area to establish and operate a mountain bike storage and rental business. The activity includes:
- placement of two movable 20’ shipping containers
- construction of a temporary wooden deck with cover/roof
- location of a removable Port-a-loo toilet facility
- location of a water tank facility
- exclusive use of 10 existing carparks
- location and use of power generation equipment
- location of rubbish bins.
