Notice three good things in nature
IntroductionResearch has shown that noting three good things in nature each day leads to an increase in nature connection, health and wellbeing.
What to do
- Look out of a window or head outside.
- Record what you notice. This could be by taking a photo, writing it down, drawing a picture.
- At the end of one week, share your findings with your friends and family. Encourage your friends and family to do the same.
- You can record your findings in a nature journal.
Get help identifying species
Get help from scientists and fellow nature observers to identify the plants and animals in your photos by uploading them to iNaturalist, Seek and/or NZ Bird Atlas.
