Te Rua-o-te-moko / Fiordland National Park Visitor Centre is in the lakeside town of Te Anau, the gateway to Fiordland National Park – part of the Te Wāhipounamu World Heritage Area.

Getting there
We’re on the waterfront, at the corner of Lakefront Drive and SH95 Manapouri Highway. It's a 10 minute walk from Te Anau's main street.

Temporary operating hours for Tuesday 10 February 2026:
- Open: 8:30 am –12:00 pm
- Closed: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
- Open: 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm
Holidays
- Anzac Day, 25 April, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
- Open on public holidays, except closed Christmas Day, 25 December.
