Description

Veronica Loop Track

Time: 2 hr

A pleasant walk uphill through changing alpine rainforest with the option of diverting to a lookout point offering views of the mountain and out to the coast.

The walk begins at the North Egmont Visitor Centre and follows the boardwalk up past the Camphouse and on to the Holly Hut Track. It passes the Ambury Monument then climbs numerous steps, eventually reaching the Veronica Loop track turnoff.

Here is the option of continuing a further 10 minutes walk up the Holly Hut track to the lookout point.

The Veronica Loop Track descends through montane forest, emerging from the trees at the Camphouse and returning to the visitor centre.
