The scenic Moki and Kiwi Roads are narrow and unsealed.
The Moki and Kiwi Roads are historically significant. They were made around 1910 by road workers using wheelbarrows, picks and shovels. The Moki Road was originally a pack trail from Uruti to Tahora.
