Loch Katrine huts
There are three huts in the area that can be booked for a fee, managed by the Loch Katrine Association.

Free.
Turn off SH7 at Waikari and follow the road to Hawardon (approximately 8.5 km). The road then joins Lake Sumner Rd, which leads to Lake Taylor (approximately 50 km). Continue for another 8 km to Loch Katrine. A high clearance 4WD vehicle is essential.
