Trees That Count
A national charity bringing people together to plant millions more native trees for climate change, biodiversity, ecosystems and communities.

Trees That Count connects businesses and people wanting to make a difference to native planting projects in need of funding.

More than 1,800 projects have been supported with over 2.9 million native trees – and the number grows every day.

How to get involved

For individuals

  • You can donate a native tree to a community planting project for $10.
  • Or send a $10 native tree gift. Your recipient will receive a gift certificate with your personal message via email, and Trees That Count will match the native tree with a planting project to plant and care for it.

For businesses

Trees That Count offers all businesses the chance to make a real difference for Aotearoa. Whether you’re donating to planting projects across the country or gifting to employees or customers, a partnership with Trees That Count is a transparent and impactful way for your business to tackle climate change and biodiversity loss in Aotearoa New Zealand.
