Marlborough

This challenging trip above the bushline in Mt Richmond Forest Park offers outstanding views over the Waimea Plains and the Inland Kaikoura Ranges. This track is part of Te Araroa Trail.

The wheelchair-friendly Circle Walk alongside Te Hoiere/Pelorus River continues as the Circle Loop Track. This track is part of Te Araroa Trail.

The Pelorus Track offers walkers 3-4 days of hard tramping through forest along the river. This track is part of Te Araroa Trail.

Experience the spectacular Marlborough Sounds by walking or biking the Queen Charlotte Track. The track stretches 73.5 km from historic Meretoto/Ship Cove through to Anakiwa in Queen Charlotte Sound. This track is part of Te Araroa Trail.

The Richmond Ranges Te Araroa Track is one of the most challenging parts of Te Araroa. You need advanced backcountry tramping skills and supplies for at least ten days.
