Permits are required for all designated hunting blocks on Stewart Island/Rakiura public conservation land. These must be applied for in advance from the Rakiura National Park Visitor Centre, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Permits are issued for a maximum period of 10 days for hunting blocks. Permits may be received by post or email, or collected from Rakiura National Park Visitor Centre in Halfmoon Bay prior to your trip.
Open zone permits for Stewart Island/Rakiura are completed online and are valid for four months.
