Animals present are pigs and red deer.
This block is part of the Glendhu Tussock Reserve which is situated in the Glendhu Forest northwest of Lawrence.
A significant amount of tussock covers the block, with some low hebe and mānuka scrub present as well. The area is surrounded by a privately owned exotic forest.
Access is via Waipori Road then Mountain Road onto Gardiners Track through the Glendhu Forest. The road is suitable for all vehicles to the start of Mountain Road; from here to the hunting block boundary, 4WD is recommended.
Access may not be always possible due to forestry operations.

Dogs are allowed in this block with a hunting permit. If accessing the block over private land, you must have landholder permission to take your dog.
