General information
This block has two portions, both part of the Catlins Conservation Park. The southern portion is bush covered and the northern is a significant area of red tussock.
The Kaihiku block is restricted. You need to get a permit specifically for this block, from the local DOC office.
Access
Access to the southern portion is via State Highway One west of Balclutha, left onto Jacks Hill Road and then onto Glenfalloch Road. The road to the red tussock reserve is suitable for 4WD only, and permission must be obtained from the landholder.

Dogs
Dogs are allowed in this block with a hunting permit. If accessing the block over private land, you must have landholder permission to take your dog.
