General information
The hunting area in the Hanmer Range, on the true left of the Waiau River.
The terrain is moderate to very steep. Vegetation is predominantly beech forest with some shrubland, tussock and open tops.
Pigs, red deer and chamois are present in low to moderate numbers.
Other hunters may be encountered. Take precautions and identify your target.

Access to the area is via helicopter only.

Access permission is not available across private property.
