View the very large Londonderry Rock - which during the Kumara Goldrushes was too large for miners to move or break.Dog access
Dogs with a DOC permit only. Contact closest DOC office to obtain a permit. Other pets on conservation land rule
A short walking track passes through tailings and old goldworkings to view Londonderry Rock – a huge boulder too large for the miners to move or break.
Turn off SH 73, 1km east of Kumara onto a metalled road running alongside a water race.
