Bookings
Bookings for the 2026/27 season open at 12 noon on Tuesday 12 May 2026.
- If no availability shows online for your dates, the lodge is fully booked.
- No spaces are kept for visitors arriving without a booking.
- Phone and in‑person bookings made at a visitor centre incur a $10 service fee.
- Same‑day bookings are available online until 8 pm if spaces remain.
Bookings are required all year.
The Cottage is located in Palliser Bay/Aorangi Forest Park, 70 km from Featherston.
Follow Cape Palliser/Whatarangi Rd (off Lake Ferry Rd) for 13 km. The driveway is second of two on the left about 500 m before the Putangirua Pinnacles carpark turn off.
- Bedding is not supplied. Bring your own duvet or sleeping bag, pillow and pillow covers.
- The BBQ is currently unavailable
- There are no rubbish facilities. Take your rubbish with you.
Te Kopi Cottage is close to the Pinnacles and other walks along the rugged coastline with good fishing opportunities. The nearby Aorangi Forest Park offers good hunting opportunities (permit required from DOC).
