Swingbridge Mill Flat river

Introduction

Pack a picnic and head to the foothills of the Richmond Ranges to explore the native forest of Marlborough. Breathe in the waterfall at Mill Flat, cross a swingbridge and even taste some sweet honeydew.
  • The sound of milling from the historic mill site has been replaced with bird song – what can you hear?
  • Cross the swing bridge over a crystal clear stream.
  • Look for the trunks of the old milled trees.
  • Find a quite spot beside the stream for lunch.
