Acess this area from end of Greenstone Station Rd, 85 km from Queenstown. From Glenorchy to the Greenstone Shelter takes an hour on a gravel road. Between Kinloch and Greenstone Station Road end are a number of fords that can be flooded in heavy rain and become impassable.
