Complete this form to enter the ballot for access to Ruahine Forest Park via Big Hill Station.

Party leader details

The party leader should be the owner/driver of the named vehicle. The party leader is the person who will be issued the permit and the digital key for the gate lock.

Group details

You can have up to 5 people in the party, including the party leader. All party members must be named on the permit.

To ensure as many people as possible have an opportunity to use this access, you may only have 1 permit per season (whether as a party leader or member). Where an individual is named on more than 1 permit application, that application will be void for the whole party.

Preferred access dates

Access permits are issued for 1 week from Friday to Thursday between from the first Friday of November to the last Thursday of July. You can select up to 3 dates in order of preference.

If your preferred dates are unavailable, are you happy to be offered any other available date?

If you select “No”, your application will only be considered for your preferred dates. If those dates are unavailable, the opportunity may be offered to another applicant.
