This short, easy walk alongside Lake Manapouri is great for families, with picnic and swimming opportunities and lovely lake views.Dog access
The views from the beach of the Fiordland National Park are awe-inspiring, especially at sunset. Walk along the beach, or the track parallel to the beach.
Picnic tables and toilets are available at Frasers Beach.
The walking track starts and finishes at either Pearl Harbour, Manapouri, or at the Frasers Beach road entrance just north of Manapouri township.
To get to Manapouri from Te Anau (21 km, 20 minutes drive), follow the Manapouri - Te Anau Highway.
The wharf at Pearl Harbour is 500 m past the shops on Waiau St, and the carpark is accessed from View St (left turn south of shops).
