About this track

Description

The Mokoroa Falls Track starts at Horsman Road. You pass the junction with the Goldie Bush Walkway on your left after about 5 minutes.

The track follows a gentle path along a ridge to a viewing platform where you can view the Mokoroa Falls.

From the viewing platform, steep steps lead down to the Mokoroa Stream where you can view the falls from the bottom. Take care as the steps are slippery.

It is 2.2 km (1 hr 15 min) back to the junction of the Goldie Bush Walkway and Mokoroa Stream Track, and a further 1.3 km (35 min) to Constable Rd.

Longer loop walk

The stone steps form the start of the Mokoroa Stream Track. For a longer 4-5 hour loop walk, walk the Mokoroa Stream Track and return to the Mokoroa Falls Track via the Goldie Bush Walkway.
