Motutapu has hosted weddings, corporate and club team-building, picnics and large family outings.
A permit is required for these organised group activities, and this ensures that you won’t be faced with a competing large group on the same day.
You can camp on Motutapu at the Home Bay campground.
Accommodation is also available at the Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp at Administration Bay. The camp primarily caters for educational groups, but has a range of accommodation available for private groups. More about Motutapu Outdoor Education Camp accommodation.
