Minister of Conservation Hon Kate Wilkinson today announced the appointments to the Taranaki/Whanganui Conservation Board.Date: 23 December 2010
Minister of Conservation Hon Kate Wilkinson today announced the appointments to the Taranaki/Whanganui Conservation Board. “I am pleased to reappoint Christine Cheyne of Palmerston North and David Digby of Stratford to the Taranaki/Whanganui Conservation Board”.
Dr Cheyne is a lecturer in resource and environmental planning. She is involved in a diverse range of recreational pursuits and community based environmental groups. Her outdoor interests are kayaking, tramping and mountain biking.
Mr Digby is running a transport, tramping and tourism business. He is active in the outdoors in mountain safety and as a Fire Service volunteer.
The Minister thanked the outgoing member Ian Bell for his significant contribution to the Taranaki/Whanganui Conservation Board.
